École, accueils de loisirs : les actions de la Ville pour vos enfants

School, leisure centers: city actions for your children – Maisons-Alfort

A large number of free activities all year round

While Maisons-Alfort has been pursuing an active policy in favor of youth for years, the city’s territorial education project (PEDT), implemented in 2021, formalizes this. It lists and coordinates all school, extracurricular and extracurricular activities offered by the city and its partners to Maisonnais children. You can consult this very extensive document here.

Educational projects that benefit 1,500 students every year: adapted to each school level, their aim is that all young people from Maisonnais are made aware of various topics: tolerance, republican institutions, the dangers of the road and the Internet, the 1ers staff…

Citizenship and environment education: Every year, three citizen classes and two eco-citizen classes (CM1/CM2) benefit from these educational courses.

A cultural opening: thanks to numerous free cultural mediation actions (introduction to reading, theater shows, art awareness workshops, instrumental discovery, dance awareness, etc.) carried out in collaboration with the City’s theaters, conservatory and media libraries, as well as the Municipal Office of Culture .

Learn to preserve our planet: Although ecology has always been part of educational projects (educational activities in the Vert de Maisons park, geothermal energy, etc.), this specific program has been significantly expanded since the opening of the Environment House (visits, workshops, etc.) .

Sports for everyone: during school hours but also outside of school, with about ten free sports facilities for 3-25 year olds: Bébé-Gym, Contrats Bleus or even Sports Loisirs Quartiers… were joined in 2021 by Sport Découverte. Maisons-Alfort is the only town in Val-de-Marne that offers such a varied range of sporting activities.

Schools adapted to global warming: an extensive program for renovation and greening of school grounds. Since 2020, a dozen nursery and primary schools have already benefited from this.

Free academic support from CP in community centers.
