The Montat. A very well attended open house event

On Saturday, March 9, the schools of Cahors, including the Lycée des Territoires de Cahors – Le Montat, organized the annual joint orientation day. This allows students, accompanied by their legal representatives, to discover the premises and the courses offered.

On this day, which started at 9 a.m., approximately 200 people were able to walk from the reception to the desired training room and then to the foyer, without leaving the CDI, the laboratory, the cafeteria, the boarding room and the premises specific to the intended training to forget. (technical treatment platform, educational kitchen, workshop for the GMNF sector). The visit ended with the transversal center run by Mrs. Meyer (school life), Mrs. Costes (scholarships/registrations) and Mrs. Cornède (health/disability). Each family could leave by stopping at the shop run by CAPa Sapver students, accompanied by one of their teachers, to discover the products of the farm and the partner agricultural high schools. Montat High School, because of its geography, size and team, is reassuring. The very positive feedback from families confirms this and some made staff smile, especially when several parents said: “It makes me excited to go back to school.” Training days are still planned and a final half-day open house is planned for Wednesday afternoon, May 15.
