Because things were going well, they renewed wild actions aimed at the elderly, while they chose to come here.”

It all started with a pancake workshop, and while the dough rested, everyone tried out new board games. “It's a change from the endless shit,” one of the elders admitted. After the games it's time for discussion, with a workshop called “Moving Debates”.

“There were not many debates, but many questions, because everyone was interested,” adds Redda Sehlaoui, elected head of the CMJ. With Christiane Sercomanens and Zoé from the Fédé Partir we answered the questions asked, all of which were quite were recurring. about making the city center car-free, pedestrian traffic, bus lines, sidewalks and paving stones, but also about understanding 'how it works'. It was a perfect debate between two layers of the population standing side by side but sometimes ignore each other. The young people have invested a lot and must prepare a report about this and send it back to the Senior Center.”

After a short musical quiz, the meeting ended with a pancake tasting.
