The new Sud Management campus in 2025

A visit to the future Sud Management campus at the Technopôle Agen-Garonne (TAG) in Sainte-Colombe-en-Brulhois took place this Thursday, April 4, in the presence of Karine Desroses, Vice-President of the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in vocational training, apprenticeships and employment.

A new building has been built in the activity zone of the Technopôle Agen-Garonne (TAG) of Sainte-Colombe-en-Brulhois. This is the ‘La Serre’ business incubator, one of the three buildings that will form the new campus of the Sud Management group from September 2025. A necessary project because the Agropole campus inaugurated in 1992 was no longer adapted to the new training requirements and was saturated with the 500 students enrolled in the school.

The new campus of almost 3,500 m² “will allow us to accommodate approximately 200 additional students”, recalls Ludovic Bonnet, general manager of Sud Management, as the group aims to contribute to the emergence of a “new generation of CFA”.

“Train all students in ecological transition”

New training courses related to sustainable development will be created on this campus, in addition to those already offered by the school – technical platforms such as the Ehpad school and those designed for training in transport and logistics will remain on campus. . “Our goal is to train 100% of the bac + 2 students in the ecological transition within 5 years,” recalls Ludovic Bonnet. For example, the school should soon offer a bachelor’s degree specializing in renewable energy.

“We are very pleased with the way the campus is developing,” said Delphine Eychenne, Regional Advisor for Access to Employment and Career Security, present alongside Karine Desroses, Vice-President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Council, responsible for vocational training and apprenticeships and employment for the site visit next Thursday, April 4. As a reminder, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region is the largest financier of this project (4.9 million euros out of a total of 9 million euros).

Another 18 months of work

A week ago, construction began on the future administrative building and the building that will house the classrooms and offices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. If all goes well, the work will be completed within 18 months. The new Sud Management campus, designed and thought out to recreate a Gascony farm, located 10 minutes’ walk from the future LGV station, has all the assets to attract and train people. as the group wishes: future ‘citizen managers of the 21st century’.
