Toulouse: Register for the student cooking competition, initiated by the Crous

De Crous is organizing a cooking competition for students for the first time. Applications are open until March 22nd and the final will be held at Rangueil University Restaurant on April 8th.

Students, start cooking! The Crous de Toulouse-Occitanie launches its very first cooking competition for students, called Chef Crous’TO. The eight candidates selected during the preliminary phase will compete in the final, which will be held on April 8 at the university restaurant on the Rangueil campus.

Young novice chefs are given 4 hours to create a menu for three people, consisting of a starter, a main course and a dessert, taking into account a fixed basket. They also have the option to add two additional ingredients of your choice. They can benefit from the on-site support and advice of the Crous chefs.

Applications are open until March 22

Applications to enter the competition are open until Friday, March 22 and must be submitted exclusively online via the Crous de Toulouse-Occitanie website.

There are various prizes to be won, including a set of professional kitchen utensils, a basket filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, a meal for two in a brasserie and a pastry workshop with a Crous chef. The starter, main course and dessert, which respectively took first place on the podium, will also be offered simultaneously in all university restaurants in Toulouse-Occitanie.
